Christmas 2021

Who can believe we’re nearly in December! In the office we’re ready, the Christmas tree has been decorated and the lights are twinkling. To give a little back every year we take joy in helping charities and the local community.

For over 5 years now we have continued to support a local Bromsgrove based charity called The Basement Project. They are a fantastic group that support young people under 25 that are going through difficult times and/or financial hardship. Christmas can be a lovely time for some and not for others and to make this a little easier, The Basement Project put food parcels together to help through the festive period. We contacted them this year and asked them what they needed/wanted and we delivered. Hinton Group and individual employees contributed a large amount of Christmas biscuits, chocolates, and selection boxes that were gratefully received by the charity and we really hope goes towards making Christmas a special time.

For the first time last year, we also took part in a brilliant scheme called Operation Christmas Child set up by registered charity Samaritan’s Purse. The charity ask for generously packed shoebox gifts to send to children in need around the world. This year Hinton Group took pleasure in organising the packing and wrapping of 13 gift boxes that were full to the brim with toys, school supplies, clothing, books and a message from us all. We hope all the shoeboxes that are opened this Christmas put a smile on the children’s faces.
